Rail station transfers

All Rocky Mountaineer guests have a complimentary motorcoach transfer to/from the train in each destination. If you booked your accommodation through Rocky Mountaineer, you'll be picked-up/dropped-off at your hotel. If you did not book your accommodation through Rocky Mountaineer, upon booking you can select which of our partner hotels you would prefer to be picked-up and dropped-off at. Please review and confirm your pick-up and drop-off locations for your booking in our Guest Portal (upon booking). 

Motorcoach transfers are included between the train and your hotel in all of our midpoint destinations, including Kamloops, Whistler, Quesnel, and Glenwood Springs. In Glenwood Springs, your hotel may be within walking distance but a motorcoach transfer will also be available.

Connecting travel at the end of your rail journey

Depending on the rail route and direction in which you travel, arrival in your destination ranges from afternoon to evening. Rail travel in North America is occasionally subject to unforeseen delays. While Rocky Mountaineer is treated as a priority on the train tracks it uses, occasional delays do occur and we cannot guarantee our arrival times. To ensure you can enjoy your journey without concerns, we strongly recommend you book overnight accommodation at the end of your rail journey if it’s not already included in your package, before connecting to domestic or international transportation, such as flights.

Here are the estimated arrival and departure times for our trains.

Vancouver is in the Pacific Time (PT) Zone. Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Moab, and Denver are in the Mountain Time Zone (MT). Mountain Time (MT) is one hour ahead of Pacific Time (PT).

The locations listed below are where the train arrives and departs in each destination. Please refer to your final travel documents, sent to you 30 days prior to your travel date, for your transfer details to the train stations or sidings below, as not all locations below have public access.
