The first train of Rocky Mountaineer’s 2025 season left Denver Union Station on April 9, heading for Moab, Utah. On April 14, the first Canadian train of the season departed its Vancouver station, heading for Banff, Alberta. This marks the start of Rocky Mountaineer’s 35th season in Western Canada and fifth season in the American Southwest.

The world-renowned glass-domed trains travel through Western Canada and the American Southwest, offering all-daylight journeys that showcase some of the most spectacular scenery North America has to offer. The first departure dates for each of Rocky Mountaineer’s four unforgettable routes are:

· April 9: Rockies to the Red Rocks (Denver - Glenwood Springs - Moab)

· April 14: First Passage to the West (Vancouver - Kamloops - Banff)

· April 15: Journey Through the Clouds (Vancouver - Kamloops - Jasper)

· April 23: Rainforest to Gold Rush (Vancouver - Whistler - Quesnel - Jasper) Features for the 2025 season:

Redesigned menus on the Canadian routes provide guests a choice of meal options that are inspired by the areas the train travels through. Rocky Mountaineer continues to work with local suppliers to offer regionally sourced ingredients.

Guests wanting to explore even more of the Canadian Rockies can combine two iconic rail trips in a Circle Journey package. Our Circle Journey packages range from eight nights to 14 nights, with up to five days onboard the train.

In the US, the Rockies to the Red Rocks route is departing from and arriving to Denver’s iconic Union Station this year. Additionally, a new package is available this season which gives travellers more time in the picturesque mountain town of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. These packages will be available for departures on select dates in June, July, and August. More information is here.

Guests can still book to travel on the train in 2025, while packages for 2026 are also on sale at www.rockymountaineer.com, on the Agent Portal and through the Sales Centre.
