Set off onboard the iconic Rocky Mountaineer train on our two-day Rockies to the Red Rocks rail route from Denver, Colorado to Moab, Utah. Music Hike III: Unusual Quartets - Sacred and Profane
Enjoy a guided scenic hike to a secluded canyon. Explore the sonic possibilities of non-traditional string quartets played in some of the most remarkable natural acoustics you’ve ever experienced.
Floating Concert II: Red, White and Blues

Itinerary
This eight-night, nine-day experience takes place from September 3 - 11, 2024.
- Day 1: Denver Arrival | Begin your journey with an evening in the mile high city, Denver. Overnight in Denver, Colorado.
- Day 2: Denver to Glenwood Springs | Depart Denver and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. Cross the Continental Divide as you take in the spectacular views of rugged canyons and the Colorado River before arriving at the resort town of Glenwood Springs. Overnight in Glenwood Springs.
- Day 3: Glenwood Springs to Moab & Red Earth Concert | Depart Glenwood Springs and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. Cross the Colorado-Utah border with stunning mountain views in the background. Take an afternoon sightseeing transfer from the train to your hotel, then enjoy an evening concert and reception at the spectacular Red Earth Venue. Overnight in Moab, Utah.
- Day 4: Grotto Concert | Take a jetboat to a secluded grotto in Canyonland’s National Park for Moab Music Festival's signature event. A brunch reception will be presented before departure. The afternoon and evening are to yourself in downtown Moab. Overnight in Moab, Utah.
- Day 5: Music Hike | Begin your day with a scenic, guided hike leading you to a secluded canyon for a concert in an unparalleled natural setting. The afternoon and evening are spent at your leisure. Overnight in Moab, Utah.
- Day 6: Floating Concert, Canyonlands & Dead Horse Point | Board an open-air boat for a leisurely ride and concert on the Colorado River. Following the concert, enjoy a brunch reception with mimosas, coffee and juices. In the afternoon, venture out to Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point for a guided tour. Overnight in Moab, Utah.
- Day 7: Arches National Park, Moab to Glenwood Springs | Enjoy a private tour of Arches National Park before boarding Rocky Mountaineer to Glenwood Springs. Overnight in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
- Day 8: Glenwood Springs to Denver | Depart Glenwood Springs onboard the Rocky Mountaineer towards Denver. Overnight in Denver, Colorado.
