Dr. Kabir Jivraj

Dr. Kabir Jivraj has more than 25 years of experience as a founder, board member and principal investor, which spans a broad range of industries such as health care, real estate, hospitality, seniors housing, and care management. Trained as a physician, Dr. Jivraj leveraged his extensive health care experience and entrepreneurial mind-set to co-found Age Care Health Services Inc. in 1998, which is one of the largest and leading continuing care service providers in Alberta.

Recently, the founders took the company through a partial sale and entered a partnership with Axium Infrastructure Inc., an independent investment firm specializing in infrastructure investment. A passionate community advocate, Dr. Jivraj has served in various governance roles, including as the Governor of the University of Calgary Board, Honorary Treasurer of the Canadian Medical Association, President of the Alberta Medical Association, Chair of the Board of the United Way of Calgary and Area, the Chair of Focus Humanitarian Assistance, Canada, the Calgary Homeless Foundation, the Calgary Police Foundation, and the Calgary Health Trust. He currently serves on boards for QuirkLogic Inc., Avenue Living Real Estate Opportunity Ltd., EQ Hotels Ltd, UK., and Western investments Canada Ltd.
