Bob Armstrong

Bob Armstrong is a seasoned executive with a strong financial background and a broad range of business and community experience. He serves as Board Chair of Coast Capital Savings, Director of Ballet BC and Director of the Institute of Corporate Directors.  He is also involved in board and advisory roles with several community organizations and non-profits. Before focusing his energies on board and advisory work, Bob spent much of his career with Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, serving in senior executive positions including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategic Development Officer.

Prior to his time at Ritchie Bros., Bob held financial management positions in the shipping and television production industries after starting his career at KPMG.  Bob is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and obtained his ICD.D accreditation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Mr. Armstrong and his wife Elizabeth-Anne have three children and reside in Vancouver, BC.
